An impassioned battle between idealistic young scientists and corrupt politicians this story takes inspiration WH Auden and Christopher Isherwood.
Stan and Gretchen, the chosen two, join a group of brilliant young scientists who believe they are on the cusp of solving the world’s environmental problems and saving the planet. Will they stick to their quest and fulfil their promise to humanity, or will they have their heads turned by the fame and fortune offered to them by the alluring but corrupt politicians?
London Youth Opera is the UK’s only opera company exclusively staging original commissions specifically written for and performed exclusively by young people, we only ever have children and teens on our stage!
